12 Claremont Art Space

• A five storey, mixed use arts space in the centre of Hastings owned and managed by artists. Current occupants are Claremont Studios, The Arts Council South East Creative Partnerships Office and The Eat @ 12 Claremont Cafe. The Old YMCA Reading Room, is available for community hire for meetings, evening classes, training sessions etc. The room is 8m x 5m and can accommodate approximately 40 people seated theatre style. Seating, tables and food and hot drinks facilities can be provided on request.
  Future plans are to develop the basement into a contemporary visual art exhibition and workshop space. If you are interested in showing your work or in setting up and curating a show please get in touch. Rates for Businesses £12 per hour, Artists and Community Groups £10 per hour. Reading Room Artists Exhibition Rate £60 per week.
