12 Claremont Art Space

• A five storey, mixed use arts space in the centre of Hastings owned and managed by artists. Current occupants are Claremont Studios, Playne Design, Creative Partnerships and Eat @ 12 Claremont Cafe. The Old YMCA Reading Room, is available for community hire for meetings, evening classes, training sessions etc. The room is 8m x 5m and can accommodate approximately 40 people seated theatre style. Seating, tables and food and hot drinks facilities can be provided on request.
  Future plans are to develop the basement into a contemporary visual art exhibition and workshop space. If you are interested in showing your work or in setting up and curating a show please get in touch. Rates for Businesses £12 per hour, Artists and Community Groups £10 per hour. Reading Room Artists Exhibition Rate £60 per week.
