Action in Rural Sussex (AirS)

  • Formerly Sussex Rural Community Council.
  • Action in rural Sussex is an independent charitable organisation which aims to co-ordinate and support the work of both statutory and voluntary agencies working for and on behalf of rural areas of Sussex. It provides an independent and expert support service focusing on the provision of better services, business opportunities, community development and care, enterprise and village shops, social inclusion and issues affecting children and young people.
    AirS works to reduce disadvantage in rural areas, increase the capacity of rural communities and be an independent advocate that champions rural community life.
    AirS also has two fully accessible meeting rooms available for hire.
