Lewes, House of Friendship (Friend of Age UK)

  • A meeting place for older people in the Lewes area.
  • A meeting place for anyone over 55. Tea and coffee with homemade biscuits as well as freshly cooked lunches are available from Monday to Friday. Various activities including scrabble, whist, extend music & movement, general social activities, snooker. Lip-reading classes: Wednesday mornings. One to one computer tuition in our fully equipped computer room. Footcare professional one day a week. Reception is open Monday to Friday from 10.00am to 1.30pm.

  • Yes, but NOT from High Street. Access is available through the East Street car park and the House of Friendship car park, and the back door of the House. Everything is on the ground floor, except the snooker and computer rooms. A wheelchair is available on the premises. Gents toilet has easy access, but the building is unsuitable for further adaptions.
