Alzheimer's Society, Brighton & Hove Branch

  • Provides support to people with dementia and their carers in the Brighton & Hove area. Carer Support and Information includes a helpline which operates 9am - 5pm, Mon - Fri. Carers support groups, social groups, drop-in / clinic services across the City for face-to-face support and information. Please contact the office for details of venues and times for support groups and drop-ins.
    There is a Relief Care Scheme which provides fully trained home support workers to offer short home based respite to carers in Brighton & Hove. This service can be available 7 days a week 8.30am-11pm.
    The Towner Club, a day centre for younger people with dementia (under 65 when referred) runs twice weekly in Kemptown, Brighton.
    The branch also offers carers assessments and support to former carers.
    Office hours are 9am - 5pm, Mon-Fri.
