Applause Rural Touring

• Applause is a scheme which supports performance arts events in rural and local venues such as village halls.
• Applause provides rural and small urban communities with opportunities to book high quality professional arts events at subsidised rates, including live drama, music, literature and dance. Applause particularly addresses the needs of communities that are geographically remote from orthodox arts venues. Typically the venues are village halls and community centres and the scheme cultivates both local audiences and a network of local promoters.
