Battle and District Historical Society (BDHS)

  • Promoting awareness of local history in Battle and the surrounding area.
  • The B.D.H.S. was founded in 1950. Programme of monthly lectures, held in St Mary's church hall, Upper Lake, Battle (small charge for non-members). Occasional visits to places of historical interest. An annual Journal is produced. Publications include 'The 1066 Malfosse Walk'.
