Brighton & Hove Depression and Anxiety Self-Help Group (HOPE)

  • A weekly group dedicated to those experiencing and those supporting people experiencing depression and anxiety.
  • This is your chance to spend some valuable time in the company of other like minded people, who are also experiencing the same or similar challenges to yourself. You will find people from many different walks of life, of all ages and all levels of experience. The evening generally involves discussing (in turn) our own particular worries and concerns and anything else that may be on our minds.

From experience this can be very helpful and often provides a welcome opportunity for a level of relief, questions can be answered, helpful resources can be shared and importantly, you can finally express those upsetting things you've held within for so long. Unlike your family n friends, we know and understand exactly how you feel and understand your need to express this without all those worrying consequence's, also realising that you are not the only one to suffer in this way is also a big help.

So, if you'd like to come along, we as a group will be glad to see you. None of us are qualified professionals but between us we have a great deal of comfort and experience to share.
Home visits can also be arranged if required.

    Hope to see you soon.
