Brownbread Horse Rescue

• Prevention of Equine abuse, their rehabilitation, welfare and training ponies for disabled riders.
• Farming 125 acres this beautiful farm is run entirely by volunteers. With over 100 equines in its care the charity keeps two registers, 'loan' and 'entry application'. Two open days in 2010, May 16th & September 12th. Visitors by arrangement. Talks given. Volunteer Field Officers invited in all areas and farm volunteers welcome. 700 in "Friends" group. Please come & help either outside or with the paperwork; we cherish our helpers & pamper them to bits! Donors of raffle prizes feature in our tri-annual 8-page newsletters.

• Disabled access and toilets; group visits catered for with bowls, swimming, badminton and croquet. Please ring before visits any time of year. Group visits £5 a head to include tea & cakes on the lawn
