  • Offers Adult Carer Support, Back Awareness Service, Hospital Liaison workers, Befriending, Carers' Skills and there is a dedicated Young Carers Service.
  • Care for the Carers aims to improve the quality of carers' lives by helping the local community recognise and value the role of carers, and by enabling carers to access the services and support they require. The charity provides support, advice and information for people caring at home for sick or disabled relatives or friends. Campaigns for better services for carers. Organises training and research. Services include Young Carers, Back Awareness advice, Befriending, Carers in Touch (social opportunities), Hospital Liaison workers, Substance Misuse group and Advocacy. Carers can access an Emergency Alert Card, Care Passports and receive a free bi-monthly magazine.
