DIY SOS

• AmicusHorizon's DIY SOS project will be bringing people in Sussex together to learn a range of DIY and specialist skills to improve community spaces, buildings, and their own homes.
• DIY SOS is funded by The Big Lottery Fund's Reaching Communities programme, which aims to help those most in need and build stronger communities. The project is open to unemployed and low-waged adults.
  
  Improve your skills, confidence and employability
  
  1 day courses in basic DIY and home maintenance
  
  5 week courses to help improve a community building or green space under the supervision of a professional trades person
  
  Accredited Construction Skills Health and Safety training
  
  FREE basic tool kit and materials to complete a project at home.
