Duke of York's Picture House
- The UK's oldest operating cinema, The Duke of York's is a 283-seater one screen Edwardian cinema with a fully licensed auditorium a lovely balcony bar/cafe and an eclectic programming mix of the best of mainstream, independent, foreign, cult & classic.
- Brighton's best-loved cinema is also the oldest showing films continuously in Britain. First opened by the mayor of Brighton in 1910, the Duke of York's is a Grade II listed building and is situated on Preston Circus, standing on the corner with London Road. We are easily accessible by all forms of transport and on foot from the centre of the city.
