• Information and support for blind and partially sighted people.
• Services include telephone helpline, visits at home to assess need and provide information, benefits information, rehabilitation training and cookery courses promoting healthy eating, regular free newsletter, audio library service, displays of aids and equipment and an outreach service, Vision Awareness and Disability Discrimination Awareness training, as well as social activities through 14 monthly social groups in the following locations: Battle, Bexhill, Crowborough, Herstmonceux, Hove, Lewes, Newhaven, Polegate, Rye and Winchelsea, Ringmer, Seaford, Uckfield. 9 part-time staff members and over 250 volunteers helping nearly 1,500 people locally.
