East Sussex Hearing Resource Centre (ESHRC)

• To help people with a hearing loss (deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing) to achieve independence, equality and enhance communication techniques.
• Offer communication support for deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind people. Give advice, information and practical support all aspects of hearing loss. Demonstrate assisting devices such as personal listeners, TV listeners, doorbells etc. We also provide lipreading classes and sign language classes. In addition we provide a deaf Outreach Service throughout the county which includes, Hearing aid batteries/basic hearing aid maintenance sessions, Hard of Hearing Groups and a Home Visiting service for housebound clients
