East Sussex Wheelchair Service User Group

• The group provides a proactive link between users, carers, parents of children who use the service and the service providers and commissioners.
• The ESWSUG is established to be a consultative group of service users and related professionals working in partnership with the East Sussex Wheelchair and Special Seating Service and its Commissioners and will aim to:
  
  Develop high quality standards and practices.
  
  Inform the East Sussex Wheelchair and Special Seating Service on issues that affect wheelchair users in the county and feed back users’ experience of the Service.
  
  Host the East Sussex Wheelchair Service User Group internet forums Including a public forum (Wheelchair Watch) and an inter-connecting website:n www.eswsug.org
  
  Offer a weekly internet chat room
  
  Hold user surveys, produce reports, newsletters and make recommendations and hold discussions with the East Sussex Wheelchair Service and its Commissioners and other recognised user groups, organisations and other agencies.
