Meetings are held at St James Church Hall starting at 2.30. Visitors welcome.

November 5th Photos to Stitch – Let’s experiment with Hazel Credland.
Hazel worked on combining digital imagery with embroidery since the 1990’s. This talk suggests new ideas for using ‘inspirational photographs’ embroiderers love to collect
December 3rd Christmas meeting with mince pies.
What to wear on Mid Summers Night – a Fairy Wardrobe with Anna Nowiki.
Drawing on inspiration from A Mid Summer Night’s Dream, her seven art to wear costumes are created for fairies.
January 7th. Open Meeting
February 4th Inspired to Stitch with Libby Smith.
Libby embroidery is using inspiration as diverse as the poetry of Robert Herrick to exhibits in the Warner Collection.
March 3rd. Open Meeting.
April Meeting to be held on March 31st.
Shelly Cox. The Royal School of Needlework Apprentice – A Dying Breed
May 5th A Journey into Basketry with Mary Crabb.
Mary’s baskets are amazing. A talk that should leave us buzzing with ideas.
June 2nd. Branch Day Out. Details later.
July 7th. A Bit of a Chat about This and That with Lee Brown.
Lee is a well-known patchwork and quilter and City & Guilds teacher.
August. No meeting.
September 1st. Jo Hall, will talk about Traditional Textiles in India To-day
Joanna works mainly in Rajasthan with weavers, block-printers, tailors, jewellers & women who do embroidery, beading and fringing. She runs ‘Bazaar’.
