Friends of Waterhall

  • To promote, enhance, protect and maintain Waterhall Valley.
  • A group of volunteers who concern themselves with all aspects of looking after Waterhall Valley and Downland. Winter sheep grazing helps maintain sections of the conservation area and bramble and scrub clearance enable paths to be kept open Native tree and shrub planting continues to improve the local envirnment. Membership is by annual subscription (Max £4 p.a.). We hold work days every 3 months. All ages welcome.
     
  • Most of Waterhall conservation area is accessible by wheelchair. In bad weather some paths become quite slippery and are not always suitable for people with severe disabilities.
