Gay Elderly Mens Society (GEMS)

  • To reduce isolation and raise awareness of the needs of older gay men.
  • Meets at Dorset Garden Methodist Church at Dorset
    Gardens, of St. James Street, Brighton. Last Friday of every month from 7pm to 10pm. We enjoy outings or go for lunch, or visit Theatres
    on one day in the middle of the month. We hold
    social events with guest speakers or movie evenings
    There is a Befriending scheme, home help, call a friend in 2011 GEMS won the Queen's Award for Voluntary Services MBE.
