Lewes Castle and Barbican House Museum
- Visit the Norman Castle and adjoining museum in the county town of Lewes.
- Lewes Castle dates from soon after the Norman Conquest, with building on this impressive site rounded off nearly 300 years later by its superb Barbican. Fantastic far reaching views of the South Downs and Lewes from the Keep. Both Castle and adjoining Barbican House Museum are open to the public.
Open: Daily (except Mons in January and over Christmas) from 10am (11am, Suns, Mons and Bank Hols).
