POTTERY provided by PRIMPOT- Primitive Pottery Workshops
- PRIMPOT - Pottery in the Park Workshops offer an informal learning opportunity for all ages from 6 years. Participants learn the skills required to create a primitive style of earthenware pottery.
- Our regular Primitive Pottery Workshops are proposed to run every Saturday, depending on demand.

SUITABLE AGE RANGE:
These workshops are suitable for children from the age of 6 years, however adults are welcome
to take part.
(Children under 14years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times).

TIMES: (Regular times)
POT BUILDING: 10:30 till 14:30 with a 1 hour lunch break. (Meet in front of Stanmer House in Stanmer Park, Brighton at 10:00).
FIRINGS: 10:30 till 12:30 no scheduled lunch break. (Meet as above).
FEES:
(POT BUILD) - £15.00 per place booked.
(FIRINGS) - £20.00* (Fees must be paid in advance and are non returnable once provisional bookings are confirmed regardless of attendance).
*Concessions may be available for group firings, please ask.

ACTIVITY:
PRIMPOT provides- "Pottery in the Park" Workshops which involve an educational element and a practical learning opportunity, offering the skills and techniques required to create a primitive style of earthenware pottery influenced by archaeological evidence of British Archaeology around the Neolithic to Early Saxon eras.
The Workshops are suitable for complete newcomers and those wishing to develop existing skills, delivered at a relaxed pace in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
Our object is to learn the basic skills and develop those skills through practical experimentation.
The Workshops offer a wholly enjoyable and therapeutic experience!
