Polegate and Willingdon local history society

  • Society's aim is to learn about the history of the county of Sussex,
  • The club was founded in 2003 by June Broady and Maureen Copping. We welcome members from anywhere who share our interest. The society meets once a month mainly on the third Friday of the month. Occasionally changes to the second Friday due to the hall availabilty. A programme of events including a variety of speakers and a few outings, is available at club meetings or from archivist. Doors open at 6.45 pm, meeting starts at 7pm to 9pm. Researchers as well as visitors are welcome.
