Samaritans: Hastings and Rother

• Provide a vital service for people in crisis by offering confidential emotional support 24 hours a day.
• Exists to help the despairing and the suicidal for 24 hours every day and for 365 days every year.The Centre is open to visitors 9.30am-9.30pm, if possible please telephone before visiting. The '1471' number cannot be used to identify telephone callers. National Link telephone: 08457 909090.
  
  Service is provided to the following areas: Bexhill, Ninfield, Hurst Green, Robertsbridge, Hawkhurst, Battle, Hastings and Rye.
  
  This service is entirely dependent on voluntary support and new volunteers are always needed. Volunteers come from every walk of life, are non-judgemental, open minded and over 17 years of age.
