• The Shinewater Shaftesbury Centre Trust offers help and advice to all in the Langney area by way of general advice, including DLA claims; befriending and support, counselling and advice on community issues. It also hosts a number of outreaches. The Centre also supports the work of the Neighbourhood Action Panel, Crash Pad Children's Clubs, Friends of Shinewater Park Fun Day. The Centre also runs a very popular Lunch Club for older people in the Langney area, every Wednesday and Lite Bite on the first monday of the month. Both of these activities are held at St Barnabas Church.
