Support 4 Independent Living

• Support 4 Independent Living is a project which provides the highest standards of support for adults with a learning disability to enable them to live as independently as possible in their own homes.
• Support 4 independent living aims to provide the highest standards of support for adults with a learning disability. The following is used as a guide to all support workers.
  
  Aims of the project to:
  provide support to enable young people with a learning disability to live independently in their own home.
  
  Encourage young people with a learning disability to maintain safety & security in their own home.
  
  Encourage young people with a learning disability to develop their personal independent living skills.
  
  Enhance the quality of life of local people with a learning disability who strive to live as independently as possible.
  
  Enable young people with a learning disability to utilise community facilities alongside their non disabled peers.
  
  Encourage the development of an inclusive community & society.
