Sussex Horse Rescue Trust

  • We rescue to prevent cruelty and relieve suffering of horses, ponies and donkeys
  • We rescue to prevent cruelty and relieve suffering of horses, ponies and donkeys; to provide management and maintenance of facilities for the care of rescued animals and to extend our work to include education and advice.
    Open Days to public Sundays 11.00-4.00 pm from Easter until Gala Day (2nd Saturday in September). Viewing of animals, case history, pony rides, shop, teas etc.

  • We have a large car park but the sanctuary is a typical farm area. Most of the animals can easily be seen by wheelchair users - teas available inside and outside.
