Rother Seniors’ Forum

  • Rother Seniors’ Forum invites local people who are 50+ years to have their say about Public Services, thereby we will be: “Shaping Today for Tomorrow”.
  • This Forum speaks out about issues affecting seniors such as:
    *Transport & Road Safety
    *Life-long Learning & Leisure *Health & Care
    *Housing & Pensions
    *Crime & Safety.
Our current membership is 495. We have a Management/Steering Committee,
which meets 6 times yearly, and we produce 4 Newsletters annually. We hold free topical Events for members 2 or 3 times yearly.
We work with local Service Providers so that members can keep abreast of, and help shape developments that affect them.
Where strong Forums exist, Councils & Service Providers are consulting & listening carefully to them before taking decisions. We have started to do the same in our area. But, the bigger we are in numbers the greater the impact.
