  • Grassroots Training C.I.C.
    Grassroots Training is a community organisation set up to support our community to prevent suicide. We do this by developing and delivering training that challenges stigma and discrimination relating to mental illness and suicide.
    We provide opportunities for community members to learn skills enabling them to be ready, willing and able to support someone at risk of suicide, or to intervene with a person experiencing distress related to their mental health. Our training packages include: ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training), SafeTALK (A 3.5 hour suicide alertness workshop complementing ASIST Mental Health awareness, Recovery and Understanding and Working with Self Injury
