About MyESCIS

MyESCIS - What is it and how it works

MyESCIS gives you a number of ways to personalise the website for your needs.

  • You can store your favourite categories and entries and save useful searches.
  • You can change the text size, font style and colour of the website.
  • You can ADD and EDIT an entry for your club or organisation.
You will need to create a login first to do this, get a login here.

Once you are logged into MyESCIS you are presented with six tabs. The following are descriptions of these tabs and how to use them:

First Tab:

  • "MyPreferences" gives you the option to change how the website is displayed.
  • How to use it: Click on 'Change MyPreferences' in the lower right corner and this will display dropdown menus with preferences to choose from. Make your changes then click 'Change' to save them.

Second Tab:

  • "MyCategories" shows your favourite categories. When you are browsing through the website (while logged in), you will be able to add a category to "MyCategories". All your favourite categories will be listed in one place.
  • How to use it: Find a category you like, this can be at any level. The red "ADD TO MYCATEGORIES" button will appear on the rightside of the webpage. Click this button and the category will be added to your "MyCategories" list. To view your list, click on "MyESCIS" in the top right corner of the website, and click the "MyCategories" tab. This will list all your favourite categories.

Third Tab:

  • "MySearches" saves your search results. When you are searching the website (while logged in), you will be able to save your search results. All your best search results will be listed in one place.
  • How to use it: Enter your keywords into the FIND box. When the search results are returned, the red "ADD TO MYSEARCHES" button will appear on the rightside of the webpage. Click this button and this search will be saved to your "MySearches" list. To view your list, click on "MyESCIS" in the top right corner of the website, and click on the "MySearches" tab. This will list all your saved searches.

Fourth Tab:

  • "MyFavourites" shows your favourite entries. When you are browsing through the website (while logged in), you will be able to add an entry to "MyFavourites". All your favourite entries will be listed in one place.
  • How to use it: Find a entry you like. The red "ADD TO MYFAVOURITES" button will appear on the rightside of the webpage. Click this button and this entry will be added to your "MyFavourites" list. To view your list, click on "MyESCIS" in the top right corner of the website, and click the "MyFavourites" tab. This will list all your favourite entries.

Fifth Tab:

  • "MyEntries" lists an entry or entries that you own. As a representative of a club or group, will you be able to add and edit entries on ESCIS.
  • How to use it: Please follow the instructions for "Adding an Entry".
  • Alternatively, click the red "ADD ENTRY" button located on the rightside of the webpage of MyESCIS.
  • Any added entries will be listed under this tab. To view these, click on "MyESCIS" in the top right corner of the website, and click the "MyEntries" tab. This will list all your entries. Use the red buttons to the rightside to EDIT or REMOVE the entries.

Sixth Tab:

  • "MyDetails" is your personal details.
  • How to use it: Click on the "MyDetails" tab, then click on 'Edit Details' to make amendments to your details. To save any changes click 'Update'.
