Dyslexia East Sussex are a specialist provider based in the county of East Sussex, offering services to children, young people and families who are experiencing difficulties with reading, writing and spelling — and who may have (or suspect they have) dyslexia.
Dyslexia is a life‐long learning difference affecting reading, spelling, written expression and sometimes working memory or organisation. It occurs across the full range of intellectual ability and is not linked to low intelligence.
Early identification and the right support can make a significant positive difference: improving confidence, engagement with learning, and outcomes.
By offering tailored assessment and guidance, DES help to ensure that learners get the right support and that schools & families can work together effectively.
