Home-Start East Sussex is a small independent charity affiliated to Home-Start UK and SafeLives who provide us with quality standards and policies. HSES works towards the increased safety, confidence and independence of disadvantaged families living in the county. We support local families to build stronger, more resilient relationships through targeted services that encourage clients to act for themselves, make decisions and take back control of their lives.
Our services:
1) Lotus Domestic Abuse Recovery Programme supporting females who have experienced domestic abuse but are now away from this relationship and feel safe. Support to recover and move forward with their lives.
2) Who's in Charge Programme for parents and carers of children aged 8-17 who are verbally or physically abusive and whose behaviour seems beyond their control. This programme runs over nine weeks, and aims to support and empower you, encouraging you to make practical changes.
3) 1:1 Independent Domestic Violence Advice for eligible clients
