The Palmeira Practice

The Palmeira Practice is Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice based in Brighton and Hove, and offering counselling and therapy both in-person and online.

The Practice is made up of a growing number of experienced and skilled therapists with a wide range of different specialisms. We believe that finding the right therapist is key to creating a safe and helpful therapeutic relationship, which is why we work as a team to find the right therapist for you, no matter what issues or problems you want to work on.

All our therapist’s profiles are available for you to view on our website, and from browsing through our team you may get a clear idea of the particular therapist you would like to see. If not, then we can work together to match you to a therapist.

We offer individual and couples counselling both in person and online. We also have therapists who can work with children and adolescents, as well as specialist therapists offering EMDR therapy or psychosexual therapy. If opting for in person counselling our welcoming consulting rooms are situated in central Hove, near Palmeira Square and on Wilbury Road.

Collectively our therapists have many decades of experience in helping people from all walks of life who are experiencing emotional distress or trauma. All therapists are members of either the BACP, NCPS and/or UKCP and any counsellor working with under 18s holds a current enhanced DBS certificate.
