Support for parents, children, young people, friends and carers.
When a person has a problem with drugs or alcohol it affects everyone around them. When this person is a parent or a family member, children and young people in the family are often left struggling with both practical and emotional issues and trying to make sense of what is happening in their lives. These problems can bring up feelings of shame and anger and cause worry. They can leave children and young people feeling isolated and very vulnerable.
The Young Oasis Centre provides a place of safety and support for children and young people who have been affected or are facing these types of issues and may benefit from some support from us.
Young Oasis also runs a CRECHE with a range of services and programmes to support babies and young children whilst their parents are attending groups and meetings.
