Based at the historic Westgate Chapel, Lewes.
The Oyster Project was founded in 2004 by John Russell and became a registered charity in 2009 receiving the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2014.
The Oyster Project supports disabled people and elders with well being groups, drama groups, an art group and an annual family camp as well as musical events.
We also assist the work of Westgate who support groups working with homeless people and those with addiction and also the work of Radio Lewes which was founded by Oyster members.
