Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare (Raystede)

Takes in and rehomes unwanted and abandoned animals. Volunteers always needed to help give the best care possible to 1000+ animals daily. Open to the public daily 10am-4pm. There is a visitors centre, gift shop, picnic area and good toilet facilities. New homes are found for some animals whilst others remain in peace at the Centre for life. Illustrated talks are available for clubs, societies etc. and conducted tours can be arranged. Produce quarterly publication. Schools welcome to visit. Key stage 1-4 curriculum based learning exchange. Teachers contact education@raystede.org for more info.
