Description
Chiddingly Village Hall was built in the mid-19th century, but has been improved and added to over recent years. It sits in a charming location, just beyond the church, with glorious views over the surrounding countryside. It offers very versatile accommodation for all sorts of events and is regularly used for theatrical events and shows, formal and informal dinners, quizzes and wedding receptions.
This is in addition to use by local groups that meet regularly in the hall.
For larger events there is room for a medium sized marquee next to the hall. The hall boasts a fully equipped kitchen, with crockery, cutlery and glassware to cater for up to 100 place settings, plus a commercial dishwasher for washing up afterwards. And there are white cotton chair covers available for more stylish events. But you will need to provide your own cookware and knives.
For more details, availability and booking please contact the Parish Council booking clerk.
