FarmBuddies

Farm Buddies, a Not-for-Profit Social Enterprise, acts as a Community Connector arranging for accompanied individuals, or small groups, to visit farms in their local area one day a week to do a variety of regular farm jobs under farmer supervision, including animal care, according to age, choice and ability; the diagnosis is left at the gate!

Farm visits are usually one day a week and the programmes, customised for individual needs, last for twelve weeks or more to generate worthwhile longer lasting outcomes. We have nurtured contacts with farms across East Sussex and neighbouring counties, which enables us to recommend appropriate farms, saving time on introductions; we have initiated over 2000 Individual Day Places in this way.
