St George's Hall, Wadhurst

St George's Hall is a venue that offers scope for a variety of events. Located in George Street off Gloucester Road in Sparrows Green, there is on site parking for nine cars.

The hall has a small kitchen, separate ladies' and gents' toilets, and a stage and is equipped with a hearing loop, a projection screen and a piano.  It has central heating, upholstered seating for up to sixty and ten folding tables.

A wide variety of activities currently take place in the hall.  Keep fit and dance groups, Guides, Brownies, Parents and Toddlers group, Women's Institute and the Royal British legion, to name a few.

Hiring is normally for a morning, afternoon or evening session at the standard rate of £20 per session. Events such as children's parties [usually on a Saturday] are charged at £35, with a refundable deposit of £20.

The hall must be vacated by 22:30 and due care should be taken to keep noise to an acceptable level, particularly in the evenings: the surrounding area is heavily populated.

No smoking is permitted on the premises.
