Brighton Fringe is the largest arts festival in England and one of the largest Fringe festivals in the world. An annual four-week event, it was established in 1968 to excite, educate and entertain audiences from all ages and backgrounds. Over 160 venues participate throughout this one-month Fringe and the iconic streets of Brighton & Hove come alive with vibrant outdoor events, street food stalls and Fringe City on New Road.

The 2019 Brighton Fringe programme will be launched on the 28 February 2019 and will include over 4,000 events and performances (cabaret and circus, comedy, dance and physical theatre, events and film, children and youth, literature and spoken word, music, nightlife, theatre, tours, visual arts and workshops).
