Join us for a day in the woods every Monday!
We're looking after the woodland and meadow next to the substation on Potman's Lane between Ninfield and Catsfield. This is a great way to keep active in the outdoors, meet like-minded people and make a difference to the environment. Tasks include woodland management, such as reintroducing the chestnut coppice rotation; meadow management for wildflowers and insects; and hedgerow maintenance to keep a nice boundary that is a buzzing habitat for wildlife.
Minibus pick up from our office on Fearon Road 9.30am or meet us over there; some local pickup possible by arrangement. Volunteer registration required in advance.
