This is an introductory course in printing. Experiment with a range of different printmaking techniques and materials across the weeks, no art experience needed just come and have fun being creative.
5 week course: Every Thursday 19th, 26th September, 3rd, 10th & 17th October 2024 1.30pm - 4.30pm

This course will provide you with an understanding of how to experiment and create art pieces using recycled materials primarily found on beaches and the shoreline. You will develop knowledge of a range of techniques that can be used to create, construct, and enhance art pieces. You will develop your own style and identify materials that you are most comfortable with to express ideas and have fun during the process. Please note that this course requires participants to be standing up for the majority of the session using tools in a workshop setting.

Learn the transformative process of recycling and repurposing in this fun, creative course. Open to all levels. Make baskets, jewellery and sculpture from litter and the materials we throw away using different techniques and creative processes.
