  • Are you ready? Understanding the motivation, mindset, and values of a successful entrepreneur
  • Market check – is there demand for your product or service?
  • How (and why) to create a solid business plan
  • Evaluating your business idea – what do you really know?
  • Choosing the right legal structure
  • Legal basics every business owner should know
  • Introduction to profit & loss and cash flow forecasting
  • How to build your network – and which groups are worth joining
  • Marketing and sales strategies that work

What You’ll Walk Away With

By the end of the session, you'll have the tools and insights to begin drafting your business plan and avoid the common pitfalls that many new entrepreneurs face. You'll leave feeling informed, inspired, and ready to take your next step with confidence.

Who Can Attend?

This free workshop is fully funded by Eastbourne Borough Council and open to any Eastbourne resident who is thinking about starting a business—or who has recently started one and could benefit from expert advice.
