These courses are free if you are in receipt of benefits or earn less than £25,000 per year (this includes income from pensions). Please select the appropriate option when enrolling. Otherwise there is a small fee.
Introduction to Mindfulness
Open to anyone who would like to try Mindfulness for the first time or for anyone wishing to boost their wellbeing in a short space of time.
Participants will learn some mindfulness skills and meditations that will help to settle and calm the mind. Each week will introduce something new to help reduce stress and restore well-being.
Mindful movement, increased awareness of the breath and body will be linked to mindfulness in our everyday life. These practices can help sooth and soften tension in our bodies as well as re-connect us with our experience in the present moment.
