- 30/09 - 14/10 Reclaiming Narratives Black History Month Exhibition: This exhibition features illustrations and short biographies of artists, literary figures, academics, politicians and activists from the UK and global Black communities who challenged the twisted historical colonial narratives as well as contemporary stereotypical mindsets about the identity, history and cultural heritage of the Black communities. Some of the featured people were also –directly or indirectly- involved in successful historical campaigns for the recognition of universal equal rights and freedoms for Black communities.
- 01/10 - 13/10 Families Living in Temporary Accommodation exhibition: Since 2022, photographer Anthony Luvera has been embedded within the team of Focused Care practitioners for homeless families at Shared Health Foundation, working with families living in temporary accommodation across Greater Manchester to represent their experience through photography and audio. The exhibition shows a selection of portraits of the families and excerpts from conversations recorded with participants – a window into an often-hidden world.
- 14/10 - 27/10 Outlooks on the English Countryside Exhibition: Historically, the English countryside has often been depicted as an overwhelmingly white, rural, and exclusive space. For many BPOC communities, the countryside may still feel inaccessible due to historical and cultural exclusion but also to other socio-economic factors, as depicted in various research. The BPOC Photography Collective took a day trip to Devil's Dyke to explore through photography and conversations our thought and feelings towards the English Countryside.
- 15/10 - 28/10 Fifty Shapes of Hate' Exhibition: This exhibition marks the UK National Hate Crime Awareness Week (HCAW). It features images as well as definitions of hate speech and hate crimes in the UK and around the world, with a wide range of examples. Examples of counter and alternative narratives against hate speech through nonviolent communication techniques are also included in the exhibition.
- 19/10 3-4pm Covert Literary Magazine ~ Issue 4: Handmade/Made By Hand: For the fourth issue of Covert Literary Magazine, we welcome guest editors Sean Wai Keung,Titilayo Farukuoye, and Elaine Chiew. The editorial team includes Zita Holbourne, Akila Richards, Tammye Huf and Amy Zamarripa Solis. Celebrate the publication of Covert Issue 4 with us and hear live readings from some of the contributors who have explored all things food and craft — and more.

- 28/10 10 - 12pm Half term Black History Month familiy activities with Afrori Books: Join us for a fun-filled stories and craft morning! Our friends at Afrori Books will be hosting an exciting mask-making craft session, followed by a lively storytime and interactive singing session with singer, songwriter and actress Adriana Lorde.
