Patrick Goff is an artist photographer whose work is a response to the world around him. With a long-term abiding interest in colour, much of his work is derived from his photography, and he uses a camera as a sketching tool as well as generating photographic images as art in their own right.
For over 50 years, Patrick has worked in art and design, teaching in colleges, running an hotel design practice, as well as continuing his art practice and contributing to art and design publications here in the UK, in the USA and in Hong Kong. Based in Seaford, he writes about art and his perception of the world about him on his blog at www.patrickgoff.com
Widely exhibited, his paintings have been bought to hang in hospitals, hotels, and colleges. He has also had a mural commissioned to join other murals by Ravilious and co. in Morley College, London. Prints and Paintings are also in private collections in the USA, UK, Australia, and Singapore.
The work on display in the hotel’s reception and atrium gallery is fired by images of gardens in Seaford and Seattle. The work exhibited in the hotel’s bar gallery is taken from one of Patrick’s balcony series. The exhibition is free and will be open every day from 9 am to 9 pm with full disabled access. The art is for sale and may be purchased via reception and collected at the end of the exhibition.
