Description

Healthy conservation volunteering! Green Gyms are half day sessions of light-to-moderate conservation volunteering with a health focus. It's all about keeping active in the outdoors and connecting with nature to boost health and wellbeing whilst improving local green spaces.

We'll be at Church Wood Nature Reserve every Thursday from 10am to 1pm taking care of the woods with some light coppicing, scrub management and path clearance. Tasks can be made as easy as you like.

No previous experience needed, we provide all the tools/equipment and our leaders will offer training and guidance. There's even free tea!

Minibus pick up from our office on Fearon Road at 9.30am or meet us over there. Volunteer registration required, please contact [email protected] / 07764 655609.
