ACRES - Acres College for Rural East Sussex

ACRES is a small friendly adult college based in Uckfield offering a wide range of daytime and evening courses in Battle, Crowborough, Hailsham, Heathfield, Uckfield and surrounding areas.

• Maths and English GCSE and Functional Skills
• ESOL (English for Students of Other Languages)
• Essential Skills Workshops (SFL)
• Creative courses, including art, digital photography and dressmaking
• Language courses in French, Italian and Spanish
• Yoga and well-being courses, yoga, meditation and menopause support

We keep our classes small, typically no more than 8 or 10 learners, and provide tutors who are passionate about their subjects and sharing their knowledge.  We offer a number of courses for free and many others are subsidised or have concessions fees available.

Alongside our main provision, we also offer bespoke courses and work in partnership with organisations and businesses to provide targeted learning to their specific needs.
