Diversity Lewes (DL)

A small community interest group formed in 2010 to raise awareness on diversity issues and bring the community together. Initiating the school Equality program to support schools within East Sussex to create awareness and promote best business practise as warranted by the Equality act.

Diversity Lewes is working with partners to create awareness on all things discriminatory. We have a working relationship with Sussex Police Force in promoting reporting of Hate Crime and are involved in the Race Action Group.
The Universities are assisting in increasing disadvantaged young people to enter academic higher education we are encouraging this by providing taster sessions in the various campuses.
