Mediation Plus is a small charity that provides, mediation, conflict resolution to residents in Wealden, Eastbourne, Hastings & Rother. We also offer Accredited Mediation Training for our community.
Mediation Plus offers a confidential, impartial, independent and voluntary mediation and conflict resolution services. We are the recognised independent mediation service in our area, having helped hundreds of people resolve many different kinds of disputes, improve communication and relationships.
Our services include:
Neighbourhood Mediation (Eastbourne and Wealden, Hastings and Rother); Helping neighbours to resolve conflict through mediation. Referrals are accepted through housing providers, Environmental Health or Sussex Police. We accept self-referrals from Environmental Health which are free.
Time to Talk Intergenerational Mediation (Eastbourne, Wealden and Lewes, Hastings and Rother); Mediation between young people aged 8-18 years and their parents or carers to help repair relationships or resolve a specific issue affecting the family. This service is free for all. Agency and self-referrals accepted.
Family Mediation: For divorcing and separating couples - helping them make arrangements for children and/or finances. We have a contract with the Legal Aid Agency, so family mediation is free to those who are eligible.
Workplace Mediation; This is a low cost, effective solution to resolve disputes between managers and staff, or colleagues, to improve team relationships, performance and retain good staff. This type of mediation tends to be delivered during one working day either at your workplace or a neutral venue, helping those involved to identify an agreed way of working going forward.
Elder Mediation; Mediation aimed at supporting people over the age of 65 years who are affected by conflict in their family or local community.
