Burgess Hill Shed Community Arts and Crafts Workshop

BH-Shed operates a community art and craft workshop in Burgess Hill.  It is a safe, friendly environment with facilities and resources.   In our workshop, people can pursue their own projects and hobbies or join others and work on community-based projects. Our workshops are stimulating environments for pursuing worthwhile activity, socialising, and sharing interests and experiences.  The workshop is a well-lit space equipped with a range of traditional and modern equipment ideally suited to craft activities.

We endeavour to support any craft or hobby of interest to members.  Members make whatever they like. No previous experience needed as help always on hand. Tools and materials provided. Currently, member interests include a range of crafts such as woodwork, carving, turning, metalwork, modelling, leatherworking and willow weaving.

In our workshops, members work alongside others. They decide which projects and activities to do and often work together to improve and maintain the workshops or help community groups.
