Drama School and The Lantern Theatre - Professional Actor Training, Daytime Community Arts Hub & Studio Hire.
ACT is the premier Drama School on the South Coast offering professional actor training. Short and long courses for all ages. ACT Kids Theatre runs on Saturdays. Adult courses run during the evenings and weekends so that students can earn a living or maintain family commitments. Students must be 18+ to apply to the Diploma in Acting and 16+ for the Foundation in Acting and all other adult courses. There is no upper age limit.
The Lantern Theatre is a 50 seater fringe theatre with a café and bar. We also run a range of daytime community arts based courses under the banner of The Lantern Arts Hub.
