There are 18 regular walks across the city. Healthwalks are a great way for people of all ages and abilities to be active and improve their health.
They vary from under one mile on the flat, to more challenging walks of up to 5 miles in local parks and green spaces.
Dogs are welcome but they must be well behaved and on a lead.
We also run regular LGBTQ+ walks and walks for people with a learning disability.
If you are new to Healthwalks and would like to join, download and complete the registration form: Active for Life registrations and email it to healthylifestylesteam@brighton-hove.gov.uk. We will then send you a copy of the current walk programme, and guidance on how to take part safely. If you need help filling out the form, or want to do it offline, you can phone 01273 294 589.
If you're interested in volunteering with us, send an email to HealthyLifestylesTeam@brighton-hove.gov.uk
Our Volunteer Co-ordinator will be happy to chat with you more about the role, and can add you to the waiting list for training.
